The patient is a 33 year old Caucasian female who presented with severe cystic acne. (Figures 1a, 2a, 3a & 4a). Patient history revealed that the onset of acne began at age 30 and rapidly worsened.

This patient felt a desperate need to find a satisfactory resolution. She expressed extreme anxiety over the disfiguring appearance of her skin and even discussed periods when she felt suicidal. The patient related that she had been seen by a number of physicians and had tried numerous prescription therapies with no subsequent improvement.

Observed Results
